Stewart Whelan, ISC is an award-winning Director of Photography based in Vancouver, Canada. Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Stewart began his career in the camera department at just 17 years old, building a strong technical foundation before becoming a cinematographer.

Over the past two decades, he has photographed acclaimed television series including Fire Country, Avatar: The Last Airbender, A Million Little Things, Beyond, Charmed, and The Flash, along with feature films, documentaries, and commercial projects.

Most recently, Stewart collaborated with director James Strong on The Last Temptation, a feature documentary exploring the legacy of the influential British synth-pop band Heaven 17.

A member of the Irish Society of Cinematographers (ISC), Stewart continues to collaborate with leading filmmakers and studios on productions for global audiences.
